Disk Editor [ver 3.1, size = 0.04Mb, MSDOS/WIN9x/WINME]   Download

It's an advanced hexadecimal disk editor. It can search data, copy sectors, get partition information (it can recognize more than 150 partition types), copy disks, edit sector's data, write sectors from a file and save sectors to a file. It has a good interface and the editor has many features. Support for CHS/LBA addressing, It also supports LARGE DISKS, tested up to 40 GB ! Disks. Useful for backing up your MBR and critical sectors of your disk. I've also used it to analyze the structure of MBR, FATS and for watching program codes located in the first track of your disk such as the standard MBR, boot viruses code, or other more complex programs like ONTRACK drivers.

Note: if you are using a windows version newer than Win9x (most propably you are), then you need to create a bootable disk, restart your system, boot from that disk, load MSDOS and run the application.
